Today on 1st of June Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, Together with Ministry of Youth and Sport, Ministry of Education, National Olympic Committee and EYOF 2019 Organizing committee and of course with the initiative of IAAF, on the occasion of International Children Day, Global running day, Olympic Day &  50 Days to go until the EYOF, has organised Kid's Run. Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov, Vice President of the NOC of Azerbiajan Chingiz Huseynzada, Deputy of Minister of Education Firudin Qurbanov also attended this event.

In this event, 500 children from 50 schools have participated. Winners and medalists between Boys and Girls in the running , got medals and certificates. Before the running, in front of the athletics stand, children were shown some athletics equipment and they were informed about how to use them.

Azerbaijan Athletics Federation supports the idea of IAAF to organize kids Running event. We address our special thanks to all stakeholders, Ministry of Youth & Sport, Ministry of Education, NOC of Azerbaijan LOC of EYOF 2019 who supported us during this event.
