Today, October 18, 2018 we have started “Kids Athletics” (18-20 October 2018) Program with the support of IAAF AOD Program. Azerbaijan Athletics Federation together with Ministry of Education and National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan has organized this seminar. In this seminar, we have invited the physical education teachers of the schools of the Khatai District of Baku. 18 participants are attending this seminar from 18 schools. In the opening ceremony, the Vice President of Azerbaijan Athletics Federation Mr. Firat Huseynov and the CEO of Azerbaijan Athletics Federation Mr. Maharram Sultanzade has welcomed all participants and congratulated them on the occasion of National Independence Day of Azerbaijan ( 18 October) . After warm welcome , they informed the participants regarding course and especially noted the importance of the “Kids Athletics” for participants and for Kids. After that, Lecturers of the course were presented to the participants. Lecturers of the course are: Jeyhun Huseynov who took part in IAAF Kids Athletics Activators Seminar in Moscow, Russia  and Kanan Maharramov who took part in IAAF Kids Athletics Activators Seminar in Samokov, Bulgaria. The seminar will consist of 2 parts: Theoretical and Practical. The Practical part will be held on 20 October 2018 with the competition for Kids. Kids from 6 schools of Khatai District, will participate in this competition. Kids are from the schools number: 17, 58, 95, 138, 245 and 261.
